The silence is deafening

This little guy turned “4” four days before Christmas. Probably another reason my blog has been silent for 6 weeks. 🙂 December birthdays = crazy, fun times, (and more silver hair for me), right?!?!?

I can’t believe I haven’t posted since the end of November! Sorry to be silent for–wow–about 6 weeks now. The silence was and is deafening to me. There were many posts started in my head, yet the time to pen them into this fancy blog publisher escaped me. As December started rolling along, at turbo speed mind you, I mentally reminded myself to focus on Christ and celebrating Him with our kiddos (Of course, we used our two favorite Advent calendars.  Yet another reminder that I don’t have it all together, I’ll let you in on something. There were a few days where we combined a couple of days into one! 🙂 ) The result was a wonderful, exhausting, memory-filled Christmas yet ZERO blog posts for 6 weeks. No regrets, but  my silent hiatus has now come to a close.

I look forward to 2014, to sharing wonderful resources, recipes and favorites this year. I look forward to you sharing those same things with me! So, here’s to a new year, new books to be read, new recipes to be discovered, new memories to be made, new lessons to learn, new things to discover. To sum it all up, lots to SHARE these next 300+ days of 2014!

Although the blog was silent for six weeks, I posted frequently on the Suzanne Shares Facebook Page. Go here to “like” the page and receive those updates in your News Feed. My tendency is to post more frequently there.)
